All posts by Geoff Gleason

Geoff Gleason is pastor of Cliffwood Presbyterian Church in Augusta, Georgia. His passion is to see the people of God grow in their faith, and those who are lost become numbered among the faithful. He has been married for 21 years and, usually, is the joyful father of 10 children ranging in age from 21 to 3. He sees it as a great joy to preach and shepherd the people of God and does so by setting before them the full range of the gospel: that we are free from the guilt of our sin, and also free from its dominion.

why theology in short(s)

Just a brief post about Theology in Short(s). This blog is supposed to help you everyday. Each day what we believe about God – our theology – is tested. Do you profess that you love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind & strength? When you get up in the morning and face the temptations of each day the depth of that love will be tested. You will be called to love God more than your position at work, your “free time”, your reputation, your money, even your family. This blog is supposed to give you little snippets to help you keep a proper perspective in life: first, something to show you what to believe about God to keep you from trying to earn your salvation; second, something to help you understand how to live as his child to keep you from becoming luke-warm or self-serving.
